Our residential mortgage service offers professional advice on the whole of the regulated lending market for owner occupied properties (and where semi-commercial properties become covered by mortgage regulation). Given that a mortgage is likely to be your largest single commitment, it is always wise to use a broker in this marketplace as there are a bewildering number of lenders and schemes to choose from and so accepting a helping hand with the process can generate significant savings for you.
In common with our independent financial advisers, we do not normally charge for our initial assessment of your needs. At the point where we undertake to make an application for funding on your behalf a fee will become payable towards our costs incurred for the application. This will be communicated to you and agreed in advance. This fee is intended to cover the cost of making the application for you – if we submit an application for you, but the application does not proceed for any reason, the fee is non-refundable. The remainder of our remuneration generally is met by commission paid upon completion of the deal. If this is not the case, or there are additional costs to be met by you, will be agreed between us in advance.

We will also guide you through the process - from application to drawdown - and liaise as required with both you and any other interested parties to the transaction, such as lenders, surveyors and solicitors.
Our lending processes integrate seamlessly with our Independent Financial Adviser team too, to ensure that your associated insurance needs are assessed as part of the process.
